Every once in a while we are called to a home that has been occupied by a hoarded and it’s always a very sad situation. For this family, one of their family members had occupied and brought items into this home for many years. As you may or may not know, when items become over-accumulated, all types of things can happen to the house.

Bug infestation, rodent infestation, mildew, water damage and rot can all occur. For this home, the roof began to give way, the ceiling was falling in and the walls were stained with water and the home had black mold in it.

We got to work, tearing down the destroyed portions and made room for a contractor to come in and begin renovation work.
